#14 Nennir

I’ve started this one. I’m not new to cables and they are not very difficult (really it’s true). What is making this pattern slow going for me is that while not hard, it is intricate. There are a lot of things to pay attention to, and so I need a quiet house with no disturbances. Maybe that won’t be the case for you, maybe it will be easy peasy. One thing I will say, I am 10 rows in and it is BEAUTIFUL. I do hope you join me in this one because I am dying to see more finished Nennirs.
Ok, good luck, and I will post my progress on my project page!

#11 Bitty Front Range by Laura Spargo Anderson

update:

Project #11 is Bitty Front Range by Laura Spargo Anderson

https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bitty-front-range

Since my brother-in-law is expecting his first child to be born in about 2 weeks, I thought this would be a perfect time to tackle this little sweater! I've never made a sweater before, so I am super excited about this project!

One little snafu with the pattern, it was free in January when I picked all the projects, it seems like it is now $2. I will keep looking to see if I can find where I got it free. In the meantime, $2 isn't bad to support a pattern designer. Also on the Ravelry page, the Danish translation is still free, and the google translation of the page into English isn't bad, so that's a possibility too.

I'm excited to see your finished projects, so be sure to post pictures!

A Sweet Little Dishcloth

My latest rogue project, this little Boxy Dishcloth

I'm going to make some sustainable kits (handmade dishcloth, cup cozy, wax wraps, etc) to give as Christmas presents so there will be more dishcloths to come!

#10 Vanilla Latte Socks

Project #10 is Vanilla Latte Socks by Virginia Rose-Jeanes

Ok, it’s time, let’s take on some socks! I learned to knit because I wanted to knit my own socks. So far I’ve only finished 2 pairs (this will be my third), and they still kinda scare me. This pattern is really well written and gives you choices for heels and toes.
Tons of people have made them, so you can look on their pages for project notes and inspiration! For newbie sock knitters (like me) there is a nice step by step tutorial on you tube from Haalu here:

If you are knitting with us but maybe not that particular project, I’ve created threads for each project. The current ‘official’ project is ‘stuck’ to the top of the discussion boards. Feel free to jump in whenever you are joining. There is no pressure to ‘catch up’. Unless of course you are inspired by all the lovely photos of our FOs and can’t resist!
If you are knitting other projects from your stash and would like to share, there is a thread for ‘rogue’ projects too. I’ve already been inspired by some of the beautiful projects there!
Happy Knitting!

#9 Main Street by Tin Can Knits

Project #9 is Main Street by Tin Can Knits

I thought it might be time for a nice little portable project. This coffee cozy is great for using up odds and ends, makes a nice gift, and is a sustainable way to keep your hands from getting burned and your coffee warm!

I’m excited to see your finished projects, so be sure to post pictures!

Project #8 The Knit Mandala Cowl by Mary Dickerson

Project #8 is The Knit Mandala Cowl by Mary Dickerson
Knit Mandala Cowl- 2019 Destash Project
This one has been a popular choice and some friends have knit it already so be sure to check out the discussion thread for some inspiration!
This cowl is a fun knit with different sections to keep you interested and to highlight changes in yarn. I twisted mine at the cast on and couldn’t bear to frog, so now it’s a mobius cowl, my very own design feature!

Project #7 is The Classic Cuffed Hat by Purl Soho

Let's work our way up to some bigger projects by knocking out a few little ones. I've always wanted to knit this simple hat. I love the ease of it and mindless knitting in the round is what I need as I finish up grad school these next two months!

I don't know about your part of the world, but here in New England, Spring can still be chilly. Maybe pick a bright color to bring in the Spring!
